A place of serenity at Howard Gardens, Mdina

Howard Gardens is one of Malta's biggest gardens and was named after the first Primeminister of the Island (Joseph Howard). In 1942 the gardens between Rabat and Mdina were inaugurated. You will find many trees, including orange trees, a soccer and tennis court, small pathways and benches that invite you to stay a bit longer and enjoy the nature around. The parc appears to be a little oasis between all the turmoil of the streets and is definitely worth a detour, when you visit Mdina.
